On January 25th, the United States government was partially shut down for 35 days.
Some air traffic controllers, unpaid at the time, began feeling the effects of seasonal sickness and fatigue, perhaps due in some part to the political issues.
As aircraft delays began to mount, by the afternoon, suddenly the problem had been solved for at least three weeks.
While we do not condone any illegal behaviors, we tip our hats to those pushing tin for more than month without compensation and fueled mostly on pizza (based on the countless media reports).
Let's have a laugh with this design and, hopefully, no further delays in paychecks will happen after February 15th...
